Fullstack Developer
Job description
- Develop and maintain front-end features for the platform, ensuring a clean, usable interface for end users.
- Build and maintain back-end logic, including database schema, queries, and API endpoints.
- Support and extend automation workflows that connect the platform to other business systems.
- Assist with data transformation and cleaning tasks, such as record normalisation, deduplication, and validation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs across the stack, using a test-and-verify approach (screenshots, logs, and reproducible steps) rather than working from assumptions.
- Collaborate with the Front End and Back End teams on shared components, code reviews, and technical decisions, flexing between areas as the team's priorities require.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for all development work — including code comments, integration notes, and change logs — so that work is understandable and maintainable by the wider team.
- Participate in planning and provide input on technical approach, timelines, and risk areas.
- Provide first-line support to system users, helping them navigate and use the platform effectively.
- Provide general IT support to staff as needed, troubleshooting everyday technical issues and escalating where appropriate.
- Follow secure coding and data-handling practices appropriate to a platform holding personal information.
- Demonstrated experience with full-stack development, comfortable working across both front-end and back-end layers.
- Practical experience with modern front-end technologies (e.g Languages such as HTML/CSS). Node App Development with an ideal stack/framework (ie Vite, NextJS, React or similar frameworks), A must-have: JavaScript (Or JS with Basic Understanding intro to TypeScript).

- Understanding of REST APIs and experience integrating third-party services.
- Strong debugging skills and a methodical, evidence based approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Comfortable providing basic user support and troubleshooting general IT issues.
- Willingness to learn is key - the above languages and frameworks must serve as a catalyst to continuous learning and adaptation
- Important note - Keenness to adapt to the use of AI to AID in more efficient and effective development - (ie. Practical Logical Experience through the SLDC and Development Flow - not relying on purely AI or LLM Generation).
- Supabase (or similar Postgres/BaaS platforms)
- n8n (or similar workflow automation tools, e.g. Zapier, Make)
- Zoho (Recruit, CRM, or other Zoho applications)
- Other CRM, recruitment, or business systems and their APIs
- Detail-oriented — catches edge cases and inconsistencies before they become production issues.
- A genuine team player who collaborates well with the Front End and Back End teams and our wider team, communicating proactively.
- Diligent about documentation — records decisions, changes, and processes as a matter of habit, not just when asked.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to switch between front-end, back-end, integration, and support work as priorities change.
- Patient and clear when supporting users with system or general IT issues.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely and asynchronously across time zones.
