This role will use their deep system-level knowledge and experience to build and deliver a high-performance, minimal footprint network sensor to ingest and process Operational Technology (OT)/ Industrial Control System (ICS) network traffic. You will assist the team with the design, configuration, build, and deployment process for a reliable, efficient, and maintainable network sensor application for OT environments. Responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Design and implement lightweight and efficient workflows to build artifacts, manage dependencies, and deliver highly effective and reliable products.</li> <li>Collaborate with other development teams to ensure cohesive and intelligent solutions across the Systems Engineering community and organization at large, adhering to industry best practices and Dragos Engineering standards.</li> <li>Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems development life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Validation, Delivery, and Support.</li> <li>Support production deployments and incident response when necessary.</li> <li>Formulates plans and guides the development and implementation of engineering solution(s), including deployment, resource requirements, testing, documentation, integration, and compliance.</li> <li>Ensures the maintainability and post-deployment stability of the team’s product.</li> <li>Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices within your domain.</li> </ul> Qualifications:  <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in system design, build, and integration.</li> <li>Cybersecurity experience </li> <li>Extensive experience in Linux packaging and package managers, as well as compiling and packaging code from source.</li> <li>Strong experience with configuration management tools and concepts</li> <li>Experience with artifact management (i.e. Artifactory) and industry standard tooling for both general purposes and language-specific package formats (Linux package management, cargo, go build, npm, maven/gradle, etc)</li> <li>Deep Linux configuration experience, with a focus on kernel parameter tuning and systemd service management, for resource-constrained, minimal footprint deployments.</li> <li>Experience deploying and maintaining on-prem AI/ML systems, including model serving infrastructure and integration into constrained network environments.</li> <li>Experience with industry standard CICD tooling (Github Actions preferred)</li> <li>Experience with container orchestration (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure)</li> <li>Experience with NGINX ingress configuration and management in Kubernetes environments</li> <li>Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Makefile)</li> <li>Experience working with modern programming languages (Rust preferred)</li> <li>Proficient understanding of networking concepts</li> </ul> Compensation:  <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="3" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559683":0,"335559684":-2,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Salary: $165,000</li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="3" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559683":0,"335559684":-2,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Competitive Equity Package  </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="3" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559683":0,"335559684":-2,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Comprehensive Benefits Plan </li> </ul>     #LI-NH1 #LI-REMOTE   <div class="content-conclusion">Dragos is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other basis forbidden under federal, state, or local laws.
