What your impact will be

As a new-grad Forward Deployed Engineer at Domino, you will work directly with customers to uncover some of the largest challenges to AI adoption in highly regulated industries, and learn how to leverage the Domino platform to build solutions for mission-critical business operations. FDEs blend applied AI engineering and software engineering skills with customer empathy and domain awareness. You will partner with experienced FDEs to move quickly from an ambiguous customer problem to a real solution, whether that means a RAG pipeline, an agentic workflow with automated evaluation, or a software solution that automates a customer's internal processes.You will write code, design systems end to end, and deliver impact in high stakes environments from healthcare and life sciences to finance, government and beyond.

What we look for in this role

• “Act fast, own it” mentality: We move fast, and need people who are driven, motivated, and bold.
• Passion for AI/data engineering, software engineering, large language models, and real world applications
• Proficiency in Python is required, additional experience with R, Java, or C/C++ is a plus
• Exposure to building applied AI systems such as RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, or model evaluation, through coursework, internships, or personal projects
• Comfort picking up container concepts such as Docker and Kubernetes, and basic familiarity with a cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong communication and problem solving skills, with an interest in customer facing work
• Graduating in Spring 2027, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
