Requirements

We’re looking for a Senior PHP Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and play a key role in developing and supporting our client platform. You’ll work on backend solutions, customer integrations, and technical challenges across a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain backend features using PHP.

• Work with our in-house PHP framework, built using modern Symfony libraries.

• Develop and maintain APIs and integrations.

• Troubleshoot complex technical and integration issues.

• Work with AWS and MySQL as part of the backend stack.

• Use AI tools as part of your day-to-day engineering workflow.

• Collaborate with the wider engineering team to deliver reliable solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong professional experience in PHP backend development.

• Experience with Symfony or modern Symfony libraries.

• Good knowledge of MySQL.

• Experience working with AWS.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Good communication skills.

• Open to learning new skills and taking on new challenges.

• Comfortable using AI tools in everyday software development.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rust.

• Experience with Python.

• A strong interest in learning Rust or Python — both are actively used across parts of the project.
