Internship Strategic Talent Projects
Job description
About Dash0
Join Dash0 and help us define the future of observability. We are OpenTelemetry-native, building a delightful, simple, and AI-centric platform that eliminates vendor lock-in and meaningless toil. Shape a product that developers love—all with transparent pricing and cost-control built in.
The Opportunity
Dash0 is looking for a Talent Acquisition Intern to support our People team during a period of rapid growth. You'll be the right hand to our leadership team in building the foundational operating system of our company: our people.
This isn't a typical internship — you'll lead high-impact projects across the candidate lifecycle, from first outreach to offer and pre-onboarding. Your mission is to make our recruiting process as efficient, AI-driven, and delightful as our product itself.
Ideal for final-year students or recent graduates in business, management, or any field where you've started to ask "can this be automated?" — this paid internship gives you six months of real ownership. You'll work alongside our core team on high-impact projects, contribute directly to how we scale our people operations, and leave with a portfolio of work that actually shipped.
What You'll Do
Employer Branding — Shape how Dash0 shows up to the world: the stories, content, and tone that make top engineers want to work here.
Recruiting Automation — Build AI-assisted workflows and lightweight automations that make our hiring process faster, leaner, and more human.
Candidate Experience — Own the end-to-end interview journey: scheduling, communications, and the small details that leave a lasting impression.
Support the mapping and continuous improvement of key touchpoints across the candidate lifecycle — from first outreach to offer and pre-onboarding.
Own and elevate the interview experience — coordinate interviews, manage scheduling logistics, prepare candidate communications, and ensure a smooth, human-centric process.
Identify friction points in recruiting workflows and contribute ideas to make processes leaner, more scalable, and candidate-friendly.
Support the implementation of process improvements that enhance both speed and quality of hiring.
What You Bring
We're looking for people who want to learn fast, think bigger, and see their ideas make an impact. You share curiosity, drive, and a habit of pushing past "good enough" — in the classroom and beyond.
You're genuinely excited about AI tools and automation. You're probably already using them to do better work.
An entrepreneurial mindset — you're a builder who thrives in ambiguity. You don't wait for instructions, you find problems and solve them.
A love for creating structure where there is none — you care about the small details that make a big difference.
High empathy and excellent communication skills in English — you understand that People Ops is about people.
A fast learner who can dive into a technical environment and understand what makes a Cloud Engineer or an OpenTelemetry contributor tick.
Nice to Have
Prior internship or working student experience in recruiting, HR, or People Operations.
Familiarity with ATS tools (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar).
Interest in B2B SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or developer tools.
How to Apply
Send us your CV — and one more thing: record a 30-second video and share the link with your application.
Tell us: who you are, what you're currently researching or studying (a thesis, a project, a question you're obsessed with), and why you're looking for an internship right now.
There's no right answer. We're not screening for polish — we're looking for how you think. A quick, genuine video will help you stand out far more than a cover letter.
Why Dash0
This is a unique opportunity to help build a generational company. Dash0 is backed by top-tier investors including Balderton Capital, Accel and Cherry Ventures and led by a founding team with decades of experience in observability. What we offer:
Competitive salary & meaningful equity participation — you'll own part of what you're building
Flexible, remote-first work environment with offices in New York, Amsterdam, and Munich
€60/month phone & internet allowance
Location-specific benefits
Collaborative, fast-moving team culture with a builder mindset
