Software Engineer - Bergen, Norway

Founded in Bergen in 1997, Vizrt has empowered the world's leading broadcasters and content creators, including TV2, Fox, BBC, Al Jazeera, and many others, with cutting-edge visual storytelling technology. 

We're looking for a Software Developer to join the team in Bergen. You will be working on Vizrt's graphics templating platform, used by journalists worldwide to create graphics and visual storytelling for live news, sports, and major events. 

As part of the team, you'll work with technologies such as Vue.js, TypeScript, .NET 10, Kubernetes, AWS, YAML, and CI/CD pipelines, helping modernize and evolve a business-critical product used every day by customers around the globe. 

You'll work closely with dedicated UX designers, QA engineers, and Product Owners in Scrum-based teams where quality, collaboration, and customer value are at the center of everything we do. We actively embrace AI-assisted development to improve productivity, software quality, and the developer experience. 

Requirements

Who we're looking for 

• Experience developing software using modern technologies 

• Interest in both frontend and backend development 

• Experience with TypeScript, Vue.js, C#, .NET, Kubernetes, AWS, or CI/CD is beneficial 

• Strong problem-solving skills and technical curiosity 

• Good communication and collaboration skills 

• Passion for building reliable, high-quality software 

• Fluent English skills, our working language
