Engineering Intern
About the Role
A fast-growing, Series B–funded EdTech startup is looking for an Engineering Intern to join their team. The company operates a widely-used AI-powered learning platform for students, with tens of millions of users across more than 30 countries. This is a hands-on internship where you'll work alongside a talented engineering team to help build and improve products that students rely on every day for homework help, exam prep, and AI-assisted learning.
What You'll Do
Contribute to the development and improvement of a high-scale consumer mobile/web learning platform
Work on real product features used by millions of students globally
Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers in an agile environment
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices
Take ownership of tasks and deliver meaningful impact from day one
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Solid foundational programming skills and a genuine passion for building software
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Authorized to work in Germany or the United Kingdom — no visa sponsorship is available
Experience with mobile development (iOS/Android), web technologies, or AI/ML tools is a plus, given the nature of the platform.
