Where You Meet TripSuite As the founding frontend developer, you’ll be responsible for building a new application and owning frontend development. This is your chance to build something from the ground up that’s pivotal to the future of our company. We’re an early-stage startup, so we’re looking for someone who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You will report directly to the CTO. You Will: - Design the frontend architecture of a high-performance, secure, and user-focused web application - Create and maintain the application's build system - Ensure that the application is responsive and accessible - Work closely with our CEO, CTO, and other engineers to build features and improvements - Understand our clients’ journey and build software that enables best-in-class experiences - Build an innovative product to revolutionize the travel industry What We’re Looking For: - Extensive experience with React, Next.js, Typescript - Experience architecting medium-sized public-facing web apps, where performance and reliability are critical - Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, and testing (including the ability to write unit tests) - Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - At least 2 years of experience in technical leadership on similar projects - At least 4 years of experience in web development Benefits and Perks: - Competitive salary and significant equity in a high growth start-up - Unlimited paid time off, including two company shut down weeks so you’re guaranteed time to rest and recharge - Medical, dental and vision coverage - 401K access - Fully remote - Company trips (tell us what’s on your bucket list, and we’ll plan a trip there!)
